I made a test loaf of this two weeks ago and thought it was delish! I had hoped the Heath toffee would stay intact, but unlike cookie dough, the bread dough has a lot of water in it that eventually dissolves the toffee bits during the fermentation. And although there wasn’t a toffee crunch, there was an extra softness and toffee sweetness to the crumb that paired perfectly with the 60% dark chocolate chunks.
