Before the dough is made, the hemp seeds are toasted and the organic wheat berries are milled by yours truly. Milling the wheat right before making the dough keeps as much of the wheat’s flavor and nutrients intact. The hemp seeds add extra Omega-3’s and a distinct nuttiness. 45% wholegrain gives this loaf a softer crumb.
