I haven’t offered this one in a while, but I am super excited to finally bring it back for some customers who have been asking about it! Four Seasons Brewing located in Latrobe makes a really wonderful beer called “Dark Side of the Pint,” and I’m using it to replace the water in this loaf. This oatmeal stout has all kinds of yummy chocolate malt and coffee notes, and I think it goes perfectly with the rye and the long sourdough fermentation. This loaf is seeded with caraway with a touch of molasses inside and out. Thanks, Four Seasons Brewing!
