Bacon-Cheddar (28oz) $9 – ONE PER CUSTOMER, PLEASE!
Did somebody say “BACON?!” In addition to the 6lb block of mixed bacon-cheddar cheese that inspired me to make this loaf, I’m adding 3lbs more bacon and probably another 2-3lbs more white cheddar. It’s all about balancing flavors while trying to maintain the structural integrity of the loaf. Too many oils can collapse the bread. But this is not your concern, all you want is for the bacon and cheddar sourdough bread to sizzle in your toaster before it goes into your belly ASAP. I understand completely. This loaf will be handled and baked last out of respect for the non-cheese/bacon people out there. They’re probably not reading this description though. 😉
